Hello everyone and welcome back to my blog. Hopefully you liked my first post, and got to learn a little bit more about cruelty free cosmetics. Today, I'm going to be taking you through the creation process of my makeup! I am also going to answer a very popular question about my company. Thanks for reading!

One question that I am asked most often is, why did you start this business? What inspired you? There are actually two answers, a short and a long. Simply, I care a lot about animal welfare. long answer? I've been an advocate for animal rights for a while now, but sometimes, just caring is not enough. I decided that if I wanted to see a change, I was going to have to make it. My thought process was this: If I, a young girl in high school, could be successful in business without harming animals.. then what do huge, billion dollar companies need it for? What does that say about them? I'm hoping that one day, I will be large enough, that other testing companies will question themselves. "Why are we unnecessarily harming animals?" is what I want to go through their minds. I hope my influence can be enough to make a difference.

A lot of you have been wondering exactly how I make my products. It is actually more simple than you think! For ingredients, I shop at certified organ/vegan stores. I never buy my ingredients from a sketchy site or a shop that isn't clear about their ethics. I want to be sure that I'm giving people exactly what I advertise, and that I'm never going against my morals. Making recipes for the products was the hard part, in the beginning. I did a lot of research and got examples from blogs like Wellness Mama and Coconut Mama. I read through their posts and then came up with my own recipes from there. I took out an inorganic ingredients and added in some goof-for-you ingredients such as Vitamin E Oil, shea butter, and jojoba oil. In addition to making you feel beautiful, I also want to help improve your skin and give you a youthful complexion. After making the products, I test them on myself for a couple of reasons. First, I want to ensure that my products aren't going to break you out or give you any kind of rash. That isn't beautiful! I also want to make sure that pigment transfers correctly from the jar to your skin. So you can be reassured that my products are tested and confirmed safe!

That's all for today! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed! Subscribe to my mailing list to be alerted when I publish blog posts, as soon as I do it.. Also, don't forget to 'like' me on Facebook, and follow us on Instagram. :)
